ANTI‑MONEY LAUNDERING NOTICE

Solvita Legal Support Ltd is supervised by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017. As part of our regulatory obligations, we must complete client due diligence (CDD) before providing any regulated services. These checks are a legal requirement and apply to all clients. They are not a reflection on you or your matter; they are simply part of responsible, compliant service delivery.

Client Due Diligence (CDD)

Our standard checks include:

  • verifying identity documents and proof of address
  • confirming business ownership and structure (where relevant)
  • understanding the nature and purpose of the engagement
  • assessing any potential risks associated with the matter
  • maintaining accurate records in line with statutory requirements

We cannot begin regulated work until these checks are completed and verified.

Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)

For certain services — particularly tax advice and accounting — we may be legally required to carry out enhanced due diligence. This may involve:

  • additional verification of identity or business documents
  • source‑of‑funds or source‑of‑wealth enquiries
  • clarifying the background or purpose of transactions
  • ongoing monitoring during the engagement

Enhanced Due Dilligence is applied only where required by law or where the nature of the service presents a higher regulatory risk.

Our commitment to you

We conduct all AML checks discreetly, securely, and only for the purpose of meeting our legal obligations. We aim to make the process as straightforward as possible while ensuring full compliance with UK regulations.

If you would like more information about how AML requirements apply to your matter, we are always happy to explain.
